"I've been putting it in my morning yerba mate. I've been making bulletproof yerba mate with HANAH Vechur Ghee, Ashwaganda+, coconut oil, and honey or maple syrup (sometimes I'll add in a little HANAH ONE). It's a lot like a latte, nice and frothy, but healthier – especially for women.
Coffee can be hard on women's bodies, and the ashwagandha has so many amazing health benefits, one of which is helping to support and balance the thyroid which can be particularly helpful for women dealing with high amounts of stress both mentally and physically (all its adaptogenic properties make it just as beneficial for men as well).
Switching from coffee to mate has helped me sleep better. And when I add ghee and ashwagandha I don't get the typical energy burst followed by a crash – it's more sustained and consistent.
I feel like the benefits of ashwaganda help balance the bit of stress that the caffeine can have on my body."
- 16 ounces hot (not boiling) water
- 2 tablespoons loose yerba mate tea
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1/2 tablespoon HANAH Vechur Ghee
- 1/2-1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon HANAH Ashwagandha+
- Pour hot water over yerba mate in a french press
- Stir and let sit for 4-6 minutes
- Pour it in a blender and add in the ashwagandha, Vechur Ghee, coconut oil, and maple syrup (or honey)
- Blend and serve
