HANAH ONE coconut masala chai
Masala Chai tea is the official everyday tea in India, so it’s fitting that HANAH ONE’s flavors blend in just right with this homemade recipe. The addition of coconut milk makes it satisfyingly creamy while the HANAH ONE and added spices support digestion, gut health, and mental clarity.
- 1 ¾ cup Water
- ¾ inch Fresh ginger, grated or minced
- 2 inch Cinnamon stick
- ½ teaspoon Cardamom seeds, crushed or ground in a spice grinder
- 3 Black peppercorns, crushed or ground
- 2 dashes Ground cloves
- 4 teaspoons Assam Black Tea, loose leaf (or any other strong black tea)
- ½ cup Canned coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 1 teaspoon HANAH ONE
Add water through cloves to a small pot over medium heat. Simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add Assam tea. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes. Return to a low heat and add coconut milk and honey. Whisk to combine. Strain through a fine mesh strainer directly into your mug. Add HANAH ONE and whisk to combine. Find a window with a view and enjoy! (For a lighter version, replace half or all of the coconut milk with the same amount of any other milk)
