For the next installment of HANAH Rituals, we tagged along with U.S. snowboarding pro, Lucas Foster, on a trip back to his hometown of Telluride, Colorado.
Lucas still has strong roots in his hometown of Telluride, returning often to recharge during the off-season in the idyllic mountain surroundings. He also holds a special place in the community, mentoring kids in his second passion, skateboarding. He's a favorite coach among students at the local skate camp.
We tend to see the world’s top athletes when they’re “in their element” — competing or training. It’s inspiring, but can feel unattainable. But what about the “everyday” stuff that helps them get there? By getting a “behind the scenes” look at their everyday rituals, our favorite athletes become more relatable, inspiring and motivating us to strive for our highest potential.
